Dear Kimekai Member and Families,
Following the National update on the COVID-19, Kimekai Martial Arts will continue to operate as normal. We are committed to delivering ongoing training and support during this time so you can remain confident, fit and healthy. We are taking every precaution to ensure your safety and the well- being of all our members, their families, coaches and staff.
HOWEVER, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Given the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 we thought it would be prudent to inform you of what will happen to your membership should our club be forced to close in response to future health and safety announcements.
In the event that it becomes necessary to close our doors or you choose to suspend, we ask that you consider the revised temporary membership options outlined below, as there will be significant financial stress to all Kimekai centres and our team of coaches, instructors and staff.
Option 1 Pay 50% off your regular membership rate during the suspended or closure period. In return, you will continue to pay 50% off your regular rate for the same amount of time after we reopen.
ie If we are closed for two weeks you will pay 50% off your regular rate during this period and after we reopen you will continue to pay 50% off your regular rate for an additional two weeks.
Option 2 Pay your full, regular membership fees during the suspended or closure period. In return, you will pay 50% off your regular membership rate for DOUBLE the closure period time after we reopen.
ie. If we are closed for two weeks you will pay 100% of your regular membership rate during this period and after we reopen you will pay only 50% of your regular membership rate for FOUR weeks.
Online Classes (NEW)
Over the coming weeks, we will be releasing our online Kimekai Coaching program. Members who choose to continue their membership, will have free access to these online classes via our website, should you choose not to attend classes at the dojo. You can tune in online and learn from your instructor at home to ensure you maintain your training and health habits at no extra cost.
Ultimately these options won’t cost you anything extra on top of your regular membership however it will help us immensely to ensure we are able to continue to offer you a high standard of martial arts training once this crisis is over.
We ask that you email rather than call for further information or to make all membership arrangements, as we may not always be at the dojo, at
We wish everyone the best of health and we look forward to continue sharing in your martial arts journey.
